Ski races take place predominantly at the North Meadow at the beginning of the season, and then later at the West Meadow ( near the sleding slopes) once the snow is better.
Take West Bloomfiled Rd ( opposite Mendon High School) and head south.
Drive on West Bloomfield ALL the way till you reach the crossroads for Honeoye, there is a Bar/Restaurant on the corner called the Valley Inn. Go across the junction onto County Road 37. Continu on this road, basically going straight, you will pass about 5 junctions( County Road 37 becomes Canadice Hill Rd) Eventually the road bears to the right with a fork off to the left. Take the left fork, this is still Canadice Hill Rd. You should see a small sign for Harriet Hollister Spencer State Park at this junction. The road is rough, take care, the pot holes get bad in the winter. The park is about a mile down this dirt road

Coming into Bristol on Rte 64Clement's General Store is on your Left
Directly opposite the store turn Right onto County Rd 32
Travel till South Hill Rd on your left - turn L onto South Hill Rd - this
is a regular well surfaced road that is ploughed in snow conditions.
WARNING - about 3 miles into South Hill Road there is a S bend -
approach this with caution
Take South Hill Rd to the end - about 6-7 miles - you will know you have
got to the end because either there are tons of other cars there and the
road then becomes a seasonal road / track that is impassable.
When you reach this end - buses will be turning left and then reversing
straight back and then turning left again back onto South Hill Road and
parking on the east side of South Hill Road
( facing in the returning direction).
We are suggesting that cars do the same BUT please do not park in the turn around area.
When you have parked you will be walking back and go left into the turn around, walk to a gate this is a good walk, it will be pretty easy to see where the action is from that point. Make sure you are dressed appropriately for the cold and walking.
