My name is James Lathrop. I have been a professional sports photographer working out of Rochester for the last 20 years. I am the photographer for the Buffalo Bills, the Blue Cross Arena, the Section V boys’ basketball tournament and the Section V cheerleading tournaments, as well as a contributing photographer for Upper Deck and Tops Pro Cards. I have also been the team photographer for the Rochester Amerks, Rhinos, Rattlers, Red Wings and Knighthawks for most of these years as well.

Every day I pick one or two games to shoot to keep sharp for my pro games. As a courtesy I offer all teams the option of purchasing the entire game shoot (approximately 500 - 800 pictures) burned onto a CD. This is how I do business with all my pro teams. Your booster club purchases this high resolution CD from me for a ONE time fee of $50.00 .When you purchase the CD, you get full duplication and reproduction rights to it. You may copy the CD as many times as you like, and give a copy to every player .You may take it to any photo finisher that makes prints from digital images and have as many prints made up as you like. These pictures can usually be enlarged to at least 16 by 20 print size with little or no difference in quality. I am trying to keep the price as low as I can and still give you high quality images.

I use Canon professional digital cameras (EOS 1D mark 2 ) as well as the longest and fastest Canon lenses made today. I also have 8 white lighting strobe lights installed in the ceiling of the Blue Cross Arena. This allows me to use very low film speeds which results in very high quality pictures. You will receive your CD within a few days of your game. These pictures will NOT be the usual small thumbnails you see on most websites, the images will be MUCH larger and much easier to see, due to the high resolution of the digital cameras I use.

I will include a photo release with your CD in case your photofinisher requests one. If they have any problems, please have them call me.

I think this is the easiest and least expensive way of getting high quality ACTION photos of your sons or daughters. If you were to purchase individual pictures instead of the CD the charge is $16.00 per image from me or $25.00 from the newspaper ,and most websites charge around $15.00 to $20.00 per image, so you can see what a great deal this is.
