Penfield wins its first Class A girls lacrosse title since 1997 behind Emily Thons three goals. Kim Masterton added two goals and one assists for the Patriots (18-1).Anne Smith made 8 saves for Penfield.
Casey Denk scored three goals for R-H.

Class B:

Brighton 9, Canandaigua 4
Senior midfielder Ariana Papier and junior attack Rachel DelCola each scored three goals to lead the Barons to their 10th consecutive sectional title at East Rochester.
Brighton will play the Section VI Champion at 2 p.m. Saturday at MCC, with the winner advancing to the state tournament.

Class C:

East Rochester 7, Penn Yan 3
Samantha Cavallaro and Tiffany Raskopf each scored twice to lead East Rochester to its first girls lacrosse title since 2003. The Bombers trailed 1-0 but went on to score the next seven of eight goals.
