at Valley Bowling Center on March 2 for practice, March 3 and 4 for the
tournament. |
Coaches:
Please – if your school goes to sectionals in February, the coach should adhere to the dress code that the athlete’s have to adhere to, a school uniform or a nice pair of slacks and/or jeans (no holes) and a nice shirt. I have seen in past years coaches coming in to the center in shorts, jeans with holes and wearing hooded sweatshirts with the hoods up all day or t-shirts with in appropriate language. What kind of example do we set for the athletes if their coaches do not dress appropriately?
Also for your information, we divided the classes equally with the approval of Section V so that when we cut to the top 10 in each class we would cut teams evenly across all 4 sections. We keep it fair for the tournament. We will also take the top individual bowlers with averages that meet the qualifying average for boys and/or girls.
